Blood is one of the liquid materials. Clothes covered in blood protect you from fire, as well as give you an increased chance of dealing critical damage. If the player possesses the Vampirism perk, they can drink blood to regain health.

Bleeding[edit | edit source]
Some creatures emit blood when injured or killed, including the player. Different spells cause different levels of bleeding. This is mostly based on the damage type.
Destroyed corpses may produce more blood, especially if Chainsaw is used to destroy them.
Holy Mountain Entrance Pools[edit | edit source]
After selecting a perk at Holy Mountain, the altar will produce small amounts of blood, unless the player has killed no enemies on the level before.
Transmutation[edit | edit source]
There are several spells available that can be used to convert materials to blood.
