A Spell that calls forth a tentacle from the wand, reaching out a short distance doing damage, then retreating back to the casting point. It will grab loose items like corpses, gold or even spell projectiles, and pull them back towards you.
It will not damage crates or barrels by itself.
Also comes in a timer variant.
Tips[edit | edit source]
- As the tentacle will pull all (most?) projectiles, it presents a very real risk when using it. For example if a grenadier shoots at the extended tentacle, the retracting tentacle will pull the grenade back into you, so be careful.
- With the tentacle, it is possible to steal spells from shops in Holy Mountains. Bringing them out of the Holy Mountain area and into the next biome will make them free for the taking. Doesn't work on wands, however, as unclaimed wands are not physical objects.
- You can create an instant-kill spell by combining the Tentacle with the Freeze Charge modifier. Enemies hit with the tentacle will be frozen and instantly shattered by the pull-back effect, ignoring their HP.

It is possible to make the projectile-pulling effects of the Tentacle With Timer to work for you by flinging a spell in a different direction, as shown in this Video.
