Worm blood is a slimy, yellow liquid that can be obtained by killing regular worms or from Houre, and can be rarely found in flasks from opened chests.
Drinking the liquid will grant Wormy vision and a bright purple vignette-like effect.
Wormy vision is one of the few ways of seeing in the Dark cave
Tips
- Worm Blood can be used to clear other stains like most fluids, however it does this while granting no stain of its own, this is useful if you have the Invisibility and/or Stainless Armor perk(s) as you can effectively bottle it and use it as water without having to make yourself wet.
- If you grab the wiggling egg on the first branch of the Giant Tree and take it to the Dark cave, spawn the worm and kill it to drink its blood, you can grab the Extra max health upgrade through the first wall of the entrance to that area without having to do it blind. It is also possible that the worm will dig and drain the water for you; also granting access. It should also be noted that there is a full heal there too, but it's ill-advised to grab it that early.
- You can use Chainsaw or other Slice spells to get a lot of extra worm blood from the worm's corpse.
Transmutations
- When mixed with Toxic Sludge and Fungus Powder creates Void Liquid.
- When mixed with Worm Pheromone creates Flummoxium.
