Coming down from the Underground Jungle will land you inside The Vault, a large technical installation reminiscent of the Hiisi Base but far more dangerous.
There is also another version of the Vault called the Frozen Vault, appearing underneath the bridge in the Snowy Wasteland, west for the starting point. This one is not connected to the normal path and guards an orb room containing the Tentacle spell (the first time you pick it up).
Layout
The Vault consists almost exclusively of fairly narrow straight angular corridors of steel and vault rock (similar to dense rock, but different color) with some normal rock mixed in. Vats of Toxic Sludge abound, with no pure Water in sight. Due to the materials used in its construction, digging in The Vault is severely restricted.
Occasionally, the path will be blocked by small pipes, though these can be dug through fairly easily.
Points of Interest
- A giant Acid vat can usually be found here. It is encased in glass, hinting that glass is the only material that doesn't corrode from exposure to Acid. It can be easily broken just like ice, and leak its contents into the world.
- A piece of the Fungal Caverns is sometimes found in the top-right corner.

Proceeding through the portals at the bottom will lead you to the final area before the showdown with the boss, the Temple of the Art.
The lower Fungal Caverns can be accessed through the top-left corner of the biome, leading further west to an orb room as well as back up to the Underground Jungle.
